Help file for Gallerist V 1.12 users

Some additions have been made since first release of the program.
Gallerist is a program to automate webmasters' efforts for creation of series of html files, containing similar information.With Gallerist you may choose about 40 options for HTML pages layout, files' names and location.
Gallerist V 1.12 user's manual

1. Using menu items "Files locations", "HTML options", "Banners options" and "Editor options" from "Settings" menu topic, set desirable options.
1.1 Menu item "HTML options".
HTML files will be recorded into directory, showed in the box "Destination directory";Do not forget to set Description and Keywords for all your pages;All pages will have the same page title, set in appropriate text box;
Button "Get coloured" will bring a window, allowing you to select colors for page background, text, links, visited links and active links;
In the frame "Links" you may set, how hypertext links will look like. If buttons do not show file names, there will be only text links. If you pressed buttons "Files" and have chosen button files for navigation, there will be graphic navigation buttons, while text will turn into alternative picture's text.
1.2 Menu item "Banners options"
Select header and footer banners from drop-down list boxes;
Bottom section is for managing banners on all you pages;
You may add, save and delete banners. Use text box "Banner code". If you'll type new name into drop-down list box, located above, text from "Banner code" box will be added as new banner. If you'll not change banner name, text from "Banner code" box will be saved under existing name;
Be careful, deleting banner. You'll not be asked to confirm your choice;
You can use banner codes, supplied with the program, for sample banners. Later you may participate into any other click-through or affiliate program and edit or delete supplied banner codes.
1.3 Menu item "Editor options"
Use check option boxes to set following options:
to have note like "Page 1 of 10 pages" in upper part of your pages;
to create index HTML file, containing links to all your pages. All links will have picture file names and file sizes;
to have note like "File size 12345 bytes" in upper part of your pages;
to copy picture files into directory, specified above. Thus you'll get html pages, referring to pictures files, having appropriate URL.
Please do not forget that files can be renamed if you check the option box and enter some name into text box above.
1.4 Select files you want to wrap into HTML code, using "Files locations" menu item

2. Save all your settings. To do so you need to type some name of the configuration set into drop-down list. Then press "Add/Save settings" button. If you leave one of the names, that already in the list, old settings will be replaced with current ones.

3. Choose "Page preview" menu item under "Files" topic if you want to see example first. Gallerist will create page for first file in your list and open it in your default browser. Thus you may see, what to change in settings for all your pages.

4. If you satisfied with previewed page, just choose "Create files" from "File" menu topic. Gallerist will create all files in directory you specified in "HTML options" section.
4. Browse to directory, set on "HTML" tab and open index HTML file (file_preffix.htm, contains no digits) with Web browser of your choice. That's it!
5. Select "Help" to access this readme.txt file from within the Gallerist program.

6. Please keep structure of your directories when you upload your files onto web server. In this case only all links from your pages will work OK.
